What are kids saying about this parent taught curriculum?

Cheers to an incredible group of moms who successfully completed a My LDS Preschool co-op group for the 2017-2018 school year!

Our spotlighted group included 3 girls and 1 boy along with some participating younger siblings. The preschoolers were 3, turning 4-years-old. The group chose to meet twice a week. Each mom took a turn to host once a month, teaching twice during her teaching week.

We wanted to hear directly from the kids what they thought about their My LDS Preschool year. Here is what they said:

Henry W. said, “Every single preschool I had fun.”

Calleigh M. replied, “I liked when we were at preschool and we played all the time.”

Ellie A. told us, “I like going to my friends’ houses. We play and have fun.”

Brynna H. explained, “My favorite thing about preschool was learning colors, making snacks, and making music. I love my friends!”

Aren’t they darling preschool learners?! I am so proud of their talented moms for creating an opportunity to teach these sweet kids in their homes. I love that the moms were able to take turns teaching so they didn’t feel too burned out or overwhelmed before the year was through and the children had the adventure of visiting one another’s homes.

We were able to hear what the co-op moms thought of their My LDS Preschool year too.

Henry’s mom shared that she loved the program. She liked having options for snack including a planned approach and also a simpler version to use depending on how her day was going. She also liked when the items she prepped for her teaching week were used on both day 1 and day 2.

Calleigh’s mom said she happily tells others how much she loved doing My LDS Preschool.

Ellie’s mom told us she had such a great year and loved using the comprehensive curriculum.

Brynna’s mom thought the program was wonderful and will be using it with Brynna again this year to keep reviewing before kindergarten. She especially loved teaching the kids scripture stories.
